Ingredients
- Cooking oil – 2 tablespoons (or as needed)
Onion – 1 (chopped)
Small shrimp – 20 g
Salt – to taste
Garlic-ginger paste – 1 teaspoon
Tomato – 4 slices
Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
Chili powder – ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder – ½ teaspoon
Water – as needed
Radish – 500 g (cut into pieces)
Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
Directions
- Heat the Oil
Take a pan and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil (or any cooking oil). - Fry Onions and Shrimp
Add ½ cup chopped onion and 20 g small shrimp.
Add salt to taste and fry until fragrant and lightly golden. - Add Garlic, Ginger & Tomato
Add 1 teaspoon garlic-ginger paste.
Add 4 slices of tomato.
Mix well and fry for 2 minutes. - Add Spices
Add:
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon coriander powder
Add a little water and mix well.
Taste and adjust salt if needed.
Cook until the oil separates from the spice mixture. - Cook the Radish
Add 500 g radish (cut into pieces).
Mix well.
Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. - Add More Water & Simmer
After 10 minutes, stir the curry and add ½ cup of water.
Lower the flame and cover again.
Cook until the radish becomes soft and the curry thickens - Finish & Serve
Add fresh coriander leaves on top.
Turn off the flame and serve hot with rice or roti.
