- 2 kg beef (mixed cuts from different parts)
3 cups chopped onion
½ cup garlic
3 bay leaves
8 cardamoms
4 to 5 cinnamon sticks
6 to 7 black peppercorns
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons red chili powder
2 tablespoons coriander powder
2 teaspoons cumin powder
2 tablespoons ginger paste
1 cup mustard oil
2 tomatoes, cut into chunks
4 green chilies
Chopped coriander leaves
Chopped mint leaves
2 tablespoons mixed spice powder
2 tablespoons cashew paste
Directions

Peel the onions and chop them into medium-sized small pieces. Do not slice them too thin. You will need about 3 cups of chopped onion.

Wash the tomatoes properly and cut each tomato into medium-sized wedges or chunks.
