Hope now you can know about the taro plants. So, now we can back to our recipe. today my recipe is Hilsha fish with giant taro. Hilsha fish is our national fish. Heavy tasty and mostly expensive and famous fish in Asia. The people of Calcutta's , you can say mad for this fish. I used just fish head and back sides for cook.

Ingredients
  

Hilsha fish head and back side pieces giant taro 1For cooking: cooking oil 2 tbsp, onion one large, green chili four pieces, garlic 1 tsp, ginger 1 tsp, turmeric powder 1 tsp, chili powder 2 tsp, salt 2 tsp, tomato 1 large, coriander leaves 2 tbsp. For Boil: water- 500 ml, turmeric powder 2 tbsp, salt 1 tbsp

Instructions: For cooking, I took the root side of the taro. First, peel the taro properly Cut it in small sizes. Taro has to boil before cooking. Take a deep pan, add water as much as needed, add turmeric powder 2 tbsp and salt 1 tbsp. When the water will warm, put the taro into the pan. Wait until you boil it properly. For at least 10 minutes, we have to boil taro. Then rinse with water. Now for cooking, take a pan. Make flame medium, add  2 tbsp cooking oil, chopped one large onion, and 4-5 green chili Fry it properly up to 3 minutes Add 1 tsp garlic and 1 tsp ginger paste. stir it. Flame turns into medium to low Then add turmeric powder 1 tsp, chili powder 2 tsp, salt 2 tsp. add small amount of water that the spices can't change color. After 2 minutes later, Add half of one tomato, it makes beautiful color in gravy.Now add the fish, mix it with gravy, and wait for 10 minutesAdd the boiled taro with the fish. When you stir, you must be careful that the fish will not break. Add the remaining tomato, cover with lid, wait for 5 minutes, flame remains medium to low. After 5 minutes , add water 250 ml and cover it until adequately cooked. Before turning off the flame, add coriander leaves, 2 tbsp. So, it's time to serve…..
