Ingredients
Large sizes Shrimps - 9
Chopped Onion- 1,
Garlic- 3-4 pcs,
Green Chili 2-3 pcs
Olive Oli - 3 tbsp,
Salt to taste,
Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp,
Red Chili Powder- 1 tsp,
Cumin Powder- 2 tsp,
Coriander Powder- 1 tsp,
Water As Required,
Grind Coconut- 2 Cups,
Slice Tomato - 1
Coriander Leaves As Required
Directions
Cut and remove the dark vein then wash Shrimps, make sure skin shell will be there. No need to remove the shell.
If you prefer to use fresh coconut, start by cracking the coconut open. Hold it firmly and tap around the middle with a hammer until it cracks. Be cautious of sharp edges when removing the shell.
After peeling, cut the coconut into smaller chunks and grate it using a box grater or a food processor.
Now, Chop onion and coriander leaves, and slice green chili and tomato.
Now It's Time to cook; take a frying pan. Turn on the stove. Add cooking oil. Any type of cooking oil you can use. Here, I'm using Olive oil.
When the oil gets warm, add onions and garlic. Fry it in medium flame until it's frying light golden. Now, it's time to add shrimp. I will fry shrimp on both sides, golden red, for 2 minutes. Add Salt. The flame will remain medium.
After 2 minutes, take out all the shrimp. In between, you will notice the beautiful aroma of shrimp you can get.
Add tomato, fry it for a few minutes, and make the flame medium to low. Now, I must add all the spices powder and a small amount of water. Wait, the oil comes out.
Now it's time to add coconut. After adding all the ground coconut, mix it nicely. Add a small amount of water to help it mix properly. Cover with lid for 5 minutes until oil comes up.
Five minutes later, it's time to add the fried shrimp. Now, use a spatula to mix all the ingredients with the shrimp. Add 2 cups of water, Cover with a lid, and turn the flame low to medium.
Cook until the water is dry. Because I want to make gravy, I need to dry it. If you want broth, it's up to you.
At the end of cooking, add coriander leaves; they give the curry a rich aroma and make it more flavorful.
